My Two Cents and Other Sketches is our first Lulu.com book. It contains ten of our favorite comedy sketches for groups ranging from two (Missionary Impossible) to twenty or more actors (The Parable of the Workers). In fact, The Parable of the Workers is a great sketch for audience participation with the more, the better.
You can use these sketches during worship to set up the sermon. You can also use these sketches in special drama performances. Our drama ministry has used each of these sketches in either of these ways or more.
But it isn't just about the laugher. Comedy can make points where direct teaching might offend. In all these sketches people may be convicted even as they are laughing.
