Flim has now found a place in worship services.
It can serve the same function as live drama but without all the preparation time.
Some stories can be told better with film than with live drama.
And certainly, congregations raised on TV and movies are comfortable with it.
So we are now producing short films available on DVD that can be used in a variety of ways in worship services.
-
Call to Prayer
This is a dramatic video about people who turn to prayer in time of crisis. A husband in conflict with his wife, a widower who has lost his wife, a woman receiving a bad medical report - all struggle with life before finding themselves all drawn to the alter.
This film can be used to open worship service, as a lead in to congregational prayer, in a class on prayer, or in many other contexts.
-
Adversity
This film asks the question: How do you handle adversity? It answers with vignettes of people handling adversity - a woman who has to work on Saturday, a taxpayer getting audited, people dealing with demands from spouse and children, a teenager trying to get the girls to notice him, and more.
The film is just for laughs but asks important questions about how we deal with adversity. It is a good introduction for a sermon on Job, Daniel, or other topics dealing with troubles in life.

Side Order Film
A family orders fruit of the Spirit and spiritual gifts at a fast food drive-through window. When they are told it is all free, they quickly plan to eat all their meals there. But then the drive-through speaker gives them another piece of information that makes them shudder and drive off.
This short video can be a great introduction to a sermon or service on spiritual gifts, fruit of the Spirit, or just "fast food" Christianity.
In addition to these films for sale, we also have demo videos of many of our regular sketches that can be used for evaluating the sketches and directing your actors. Click here to see our
