Two middle-aged parents come home from their son's funeral, wander into the son's room, and try to pick up the pieces of their lives. Each is dealing with grief in his or her own way. The father keeps asking why yet finding no answers. The mother is stunned at the loss and at finding God somehow absent from her at this time of need. They comfort each other as they relive a few memories. This dramatic sketch asks difficult questions, and doesn't try to answer them. But it points to God as being a loving parent to these parents. God does not fear questions. He actually put the toughest ones in His book. Job asked, "Why have you made me your target? Have I become a burden to you?" David and even Jesus cried out, "My God, why have you forsaken me?"
