The people who spent the most time with Jesus, made him the center of their lives. They gave him their love and placed their hopes on him. Imagine their despair when they saw him dying before their eyes. In this short sketch/reading for a Maundy Thursday or Good Friday service, Peter, James, John, Mary, and Mary Magdalene each address their confusion and grief to an unseen Jesus on the cross.
